Sports & Leisure Show 2026

SWAA will be in booth 29B at Saskatoon’s Sport & Leisure Show at Prairieland Park on March 6 & 7, 2026. This booth is close to the concession area.

Participating SWAA artists will be taking shifts to “man” the booth. They will be mindful of not crowding the booth space so everyone has a good opportunity to view the art. For this reason we are only booking 2 artists in the booth at once. Some artists may decide to use this time to demo their methods. All artists are encouraged to stick around to enjoy the show; the concession booth is only steps away. That way you would only be a phone call away if someone wants to talk to you about your art - or you may prefer to continue your day away from the show which is okay.

Visit your favorite artist at the following times:

Friday, March 6

2:00 - 4:00      Beth Campbell & Wayne Keating

4:00 - 6:00      Cam  & Lori Merkle

6:00 - 8:00               &

Saturday, March 7

10:00 - noon             &

Noon - 2:00               &

2:00 - 4:00               &

4:00 - 6:00               &

Bob Lavender Carving Class

February 24th and 25th the Perrons hosted a Bob Lavender carving class at their acreage. That session had students start the carving portion of a large mouth bass about to grab the leg of a frog on a lily pad. On March 24th and 25th the class will continue for the painting portion of the carving.
